Dr. Caoilfhionn Ní Bheacháin lectures in Communications at the Kemmy Business School in the University of Limerick. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the NUI, her PhD focused on the cultural history of the Irish Free State, specifically exploring the production, structure and role of alternative histories and agencies in the decades following the war for independence. She is currently writing on the interplay between marketing, ethics and infant feeding. She is also researching women’s intellectual and creative networks between 1880 and 1920. Her work can be found in journals such as Eire-Ireland and Estudios Irlandeses.
